CEMS Annual Movie Night presents Save the Farm, Save the Future

Austin Kinzer, Agrivoltaics Senior Technical Specialist, American Farmland Trust
     
Austin Kinzer is the Agrivoltaics Senior Technical Specialist for American Farmland Trust. In his role, Austin provides agrivoltaics technical assistance for farmers & ranchers, advises on state-level agrivoltaics policy, and advocates for improved siting and land stewardship practices in the solar industry. Austin has a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and an M.S. in Advanced Energy Systems from Colorado School of Mines. Prior to joining AFT, Austin worked on agrivoltaic irradiance modeling, agrivoltaic crop trials, and agricultural decarbonization at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, served as an Environmental Defense Fund Climate Corps Fellow, and volunteered at Jack’s Solar Garden, one of the largest agrivoltaic crop production sites in the US.
